US to send terror envoy to EU headquarters

US Homeland Security Secretary Tom Ridge is to station a top envoy in Brussels to cooperate with EU officials in the war on terror.

Ridge, on his last trip to EU headquarters before retiring, said today that the senior official would be in place by April 1.
