Divers give up dolphin rescue bid for the night

Divers trying to free two dolphins trapped in a small lagoon created when tsunami waves swept them ashore have had to give up the effort as darkness has fallen.

They plan to try again tomorrow using a larger net that would be weighted down to create walls to keep the dolphins from slipping away again. They also were seeking the help of a dolphin expert.
