Ten killed in Iraq suicide bombing

A suicide car bomber detonated his vehicle in Karbala’s main bus station today, killing 10 people and wounding 30, a hospital official said.

Police spokesman Rahman Mashawi said the blast occurred at 1.30pm (10.30am Irish time) outside an entrance to Karbala’s main Bab Baghdad bus station, a crowded terminal in the central area of the predominantly Shiite city, which is located 50 miles south of Baghdad.
