Blasts rock Baghdad

A series of explosions rocked Baghdad tonight.

Witnesses said at least three mortars fell inside the fortified Green Zone on the western bank of the Tigris River after darkness.

The Green Zone is the home of the US and Iraqi leadership. The U.S. military had no immediate information on the cause of the blasts and there were no reports of casualties.
