Kidnappers free hostage in Iraq

A Nepalese worker who was taken hostage in Iraq earlier this week has been freed and is safe in Baghdad.

Nepal’s Foreign Minister Prakash Sharan Mahat said: “We have received confirmation through our diplomats and the employers of the Nepali worker that he has been freed by the hostage-takers.”
