Ten killed in Colombia coach crash

A bus carrying a youth soccer team collided with a coal truck on a rural road in northern Colombia, killing 10 people aboard the bus, including eight of the young athletes, a sports official said today.

A soccer official and a trainer were also killed in the crash near Bosconia, 350 miles north of Bogota, the capital, Leny Garcia, a youth soccer official of Sucre state who was on the bus, told local radio station Radio Caracol.
