Clinton to return to the campaign trail
Former US President Bill Clinton is to return to the campaign trail following his heart operation.
He will appear with John Kerry at a rally in Philadelphia on Monday in what Democrats hope will be a boost to the presidential ticket in a crucial battleground state.
Clinton will also campaign separately for the Democratic presidential nominee, said Joe Lockhart, an adviser to Kerry and former Clinton press secretary.
Clinton, 58, has spent the last six weeks recovering from quadruple bypass surgery.
His wife Hillary said this week he was being a “patient patient.”
