Fathers 4 Justice rollercoaster protest

Two protesters from the Fathers 4 Justice group today climbed up the ’Big One’ rollercoaster in Blackpool in England dressed as Batman and The Hulk.

Rory Wilmer and Colin Wallace, both from Liverpool walked up a stairway at the side of the rails to the top of 235ft high ride on the resort’s Pleasure Beach.

The men climbed the ride at 11.30am and the Fathers 4 Justice group say they are expected to remain there for the rest of the day.

Members of the group, which campaigns for better legal rights for divorced fathers, have staged a number of high profile demonstrations to bring attention to their cause, including powder-bombing the British Prime Minister in Parliament and storming Buckingham Palace dressed as Batman.
