E-voting blueprint drawn up

The first international guidelines for “e-voting” in elections and referendums have been drawn up by the 45-nation Council of Europe.

A recommendation from the Strasbourg-based Council’s Committee of Ministers sets out a blueprint for governments planning to use new technologies for future polls.
