Car bomb kills four Iraqi guardsmen

A car bomb exploded in the north-eastern city of Mosul today close to an Iraqi National Guard patrol, killing at least four guardsmen and wounding three others, police said.

At least three vehicles were damaged in the blast, witnesses said.
