Bush UN speech to strike compassionate note
President George W Bush is to present a speech to the United Nations in which he will focus attention on the compassionate side of his foreign policy, promising a vision for “building a better world".
In his weekly radio address today, Bush previewed the speech he will deliver to the UN General Assembly in New York. It will strike a different tone from his address to the UN last year, which emphasised anti-terrorism and post-war Iraq.
