Musharraf reneges on resignation decision

Pakistani leader Pervez Musharraf has reneged on a promise to resign as the head of the armed forces.

“The president will keep both the posts. The national situation demands that he keeps the two offices,” said Information Minister Sheikh Rashid Ahmed
