Clinton heart op completed

Heart bypass surgery on former United States President Bill Clinton was completed tonight and an aide to his wife said “everything has been going smoothly”.

A separate source close to the Clinton family said officials from the Manhattan hospital where the surgery took place planned a news briefing for later today.
