100 firefighters battle mountain blaze

Firefighters aided by planes and helicopters battled a wildfire in Greece today on a mountain area near Athens, the fire department said.

The operation in Penteli, about 12 miles east of Athens, involved 25 fire appliances with more than 100 firefighters, four aircraft and two helicopters.
