North Korea lashed out today at US President George Bush for turning “a peaceful world into a pandemonium unprecedented in history”, and reaffirmed the communist nation would not attend working meetings ahead of planned nuclear disarmament talks.

The remarks came as South Korea began a 12-day joint military exercise with the US that is routinely condemned by North Korea as alleged preparation to invade the communist state.
