Oil exports 'not hit' by attack

An insurgent attack on the headquarters of Iraq’s South Oil which left the building on fire would not affect oil exports, a British military spokeswoman said.

Shiite militants loyal to radical cleric Muqtada al-Sadr broke into the headquarters in the southern city of Basra and set the state-run company’s warehouses and offices on fire.
