Putin invites French and German leaders to summit

Russian President Vladimir Putin will host a summit with French President Jacques Chirac and German Chancellor Gerhard Schroeder at his Black Sea residence later this month, the Kremlin announced today.

The three-way summit on August 30-31 will discuss “acute issues on the international agenda,” Putin’s press service said .
