Twelve foreign divers have gone missing off Egypt’s Red Sea coastline during a scuba expedition, a police official said Sunday.

Twelve foreign divers have gone missing off Egypt’s Red Sea coastline during a scuba expedition, a police official said Sunday.

The official, speaking on condition of anonymity, said the divers – five British, five Portuguese and two Belgians – were reported missing on Saturday morning after they went diving near al-Quseir, a diving resort 205 miles south of the capital, Cairo.
