Greece 'has no security concerns for games'

Greece has done everything “humanly possible” to protect the Olympic Games against the threat of an attack by al-Qaida or other terrorists, the minister with responsibility for the competition said today.

Fanny Palli-Petralia, Greek culture minister in charge of the Games, said she had no concerns about security surrounding competitors and spectators attending the event, which starts next weekend.
