Iran seeking nuclear boost - diplomats

Iran is trying to make or buy a substance that has peaceful uses but can also be used to boost the power of a nuclear explosion, diplomats said today.

They cited an intelligence report being circulated among diplomats familiar with Iran’s nuclear dossier and with attempts by the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) to establish whether or not the Islamic republic has nuclear weapons ambitions.
