India: Flood death toll nears 900

Rescuers pulled seven more bodies from a capsized boat in northeastern India, police said, as millions suffered across South Asia from floods that have killed more than 880 people.

Ten bodies were found in the Morigaon district in Assam state, and rescuers looking for missing people today found seven more bodies of the passengers who had crammed a boat ferrying them to safety.
