Three die as Israel responds to rocket attacks
Palestinians fired a barrage of home-made rockets and mortar shells at Gaza Strip settlements and towns inside Israel in retaliation for the killing of Hamas leader Abdel Aziz Rantisi.
Israeli soldiers raided the Gaza neighbourhood where some of the rockets originated, killing three Palestinians and wounding 21 others in clashes.
