France would oppose Turkey’s entry into the EU “under current circumstances,” new Foreign Minister Michel Barnier told parliament today.

France would oppose Turkey’s entry into the EU “under current circumstances,” new Foreign Minister Michel Barnier told parliament today.

Barnier justified his stance by saying that Ankara did not adhere to conditions necessary for entry into the EU.
