20 killed in attack on police station

Twenty people have been killed and 30 injured in a gun battle following an attack on a police station and a government building west of Baghdad today, police and hospital officials said.

The gunmen, riding in vehicles, opened fire on the buildings in Fallujah with automatic weapons and rocket-propelled grenades, said police officer Essam Yaseen.
