Huge explosion rocks Baghdad

A huge explosion rocked central Baghdad tonight, quickly followed by a firefight.

The blast appeared to come from the area around the Sheraton Hotel, on Abu Nawas Street, on the east bank of the Tigris River.

US military officials could not immediately be reached for comment.
