Lightning strikes twice on slots for US family

A woman has won more than half a million dollars on a slot machine in a New Jersey casino – eight months after her son hit the jackpot on the same machine.

“I can’t believe it!” said Darlene Allen, 60, of South Carolina after winning €431,000 at the Atlantic City Resorts Casino for a €15 investment.

Son Richard won €412,000 from the same Jeopardy machine in April.

“My son made me come and made me play this machine,” she said.
