Seventy-seven protesters were arrested during demonstrations over the visit of US President George Bush which saw an estimated 110,000 people take to the streets, British police said today.

Seventy-seven protesters were arrested during demonstrations over the visit of US President George Bush which saw an estimated 110,000 people take to the streets, British police said today.

Scotland Yard said 34 people were arrested during the march and rally in central London yesterday, mostly for drunkenness and public order offences.
