A girl of 14 has gone missing with a man nearly twice her age after fleeing a hospital where she was being treated for a suspected drugs overdose, police said today.

Kirsty Blakey, from Lincoln, was reported missing last Wednesday after she went missing from Lincoln County Hospital.

She is thought to be with 26-year-old John Wayne Marshall from the St Gile’s Estate in Lincoln. He is described as her boyfriend, but Kirsty’s family are said to disapprove of the relationship.

Kirsty and Mr Marshall were traced by Devon and Cornwall Police to Torquay on October 23. At the time, Kirsty was housed with temporary foster parents in the Torquay area until her family could collect her but apparently ran away with Mr Marshall later that day, police said.

The pair have sold the car they were using and police say they could be almost anywhere in the country. They have connections with the west country, Leicester, Newark, Lincoln and possibly Elgin in Scotland.

Kirsty is white, 5ft 6in, of slight build with long dark hair. She was last seen wearing dark trousers and a dark top with black shoes.
