Baghdad bomb misses Americans - kills Iraqi
A roadside bomb exploded in Baghdad today as a US military patrol was passing. One civilian was killed and 23 were injured, police said.
The US patrol escaped unscathed but two civilian buses were destroyed, according to Iraqi police Lieutenant Awas Ibrahim.
American forces have been increasingly attacked by roadside bombs, most of them remotely controlled so that attackers can detonate them from a distance as military convoys pass.
