At least four dead in Jakarta hotel blast
Four people were killed today in an explosion outside the Marriot Hotel in the Indonesian capital Jakarta, local reports said.
“I saw four badly burned bodies on the street,” a reporter from El Shinta radio said, adding that two cars were on fire.
It was not immediately clear whether the blast was the result of a bomb.
But since last October’s bombings in Bali, which killed 202 people, local and international authorities have warned that more attacks were likely.
