Israeli mother and children attacked in West Bank ambush

An Israeli mother and her three children were wounded when Palestinian gunmen attacked their car near Jerusalem, just hours after Israel dismissed a Palestinian proposal for a permanent ceasefire.

The attack yesterday happened near an Israeli roadblock between Jerusalem and Bethlehem. The 39-year-old mother and her nine-year-old daughter were rushed to hospital. The two other children were treated at the scene.
