Market tragedy death toll reaches 10

A baby boy critically injured in the California market tragedy has lost his fight for life, bringing the death toll to 10.

Seven-month-old Brendon Esfahani, the latest fatality, and a three-year-old girl were the youngest victims of the accident, caused by an 86-year-old man whose car smashed through Santa Monica’s famous farmers’ market on Wednesday, striking more than 50 people. The oldest was 78.
