Indian bus crash kills 17 people

A bus spun out of control and crashed into a tree in eastern India today, killing at least 17 people.

The driver was apparently trying to avoid hitting a motorcyclist when the bus crashed and overturned.

The accident happened in the Bihar state village of Angara, said police.
