Blix says regime might have hidden weapons

Chief UN inspector Hans Blix told the Security Council today that Saddam Hussein’s regime might have hidden weapons of mass destruction in Iraq, or destroyed them ahead of the US invasion.

But he warned against jumping to any conclusions just because there is a long list of outstanding questions about the dictator’s weapons programmes.
