Fortune tellers evicted from New Orleans quarter

Fortune tellers have been banned from New Orleans’ historic French Quarter.

City councillors said that despite the popularity of the crystal ball gazers, they were overrunning the area and driving away artists.

“Artists aren’t the only ones who have historical value here,” complained astrologer and palm reader James Allen.

“Why can’t they work out some type of agreement with the city and ourselves so we can share space equitably?”
