Suicide bomber kills at Israeli railway station
A suicide bomber blew himself up at a railway station in the central Israeli town of Kfar Saba during morning rush hour today, killing himself and a bystander, police said.
The bomber was stopped by security guards at the entrance to the station, preventing greater casualties, police said.
One of the security guards was seriously wounded.
A spokesman from the Magen David Adom, Israel’s rescue service, Avi Zohar said that at least 10 people had been wounded.
Witnesses told Israel Radio that a suicide bomber had detonated himself at Nordeau station.
