Divers search Chemical Ali's HQ

British military divers were today searching a flooded underground bunker found in a complex they believe was “Chemical Ali’s” intelligence headquarters for evidence of chemical weapons.

Ali Hassan al-Majid’s compound was virtually destroyed by a bombing raid in 1998 but local Iraqis showed officers a hidden bunker walled off from the main building.
