British Prime Minister Tony Blair has flown to Washington for talks on Iraq with US President George Bush, saying talk of whether the United Nations would run the country after the conflict was “premature”.

He told reporters travelling with him on his chartered British Airways 777 jet that that would not be the focus of his discussions with Mr Bush at the President’s Camp David retreat.
