Baghdad under air attack again
The US has launched a major air attack on Baghdad, bombing at least three sites in the centre of the Iraqi capital.
Explosions went off 12 minutes after air raid sirens were heard.
Anti-aircraft fire could also be heard around the city.
CNN reporter Nic Robertson, in Baghdad, said he could see at least three sites of explosions - one in what appeared to be a presidential compound and another at the ministry of planning.
An office of Deputy Prime Minister Tariq Aziz also appears to have been hit.
The Iraqis have responded with massive anti aircraft fire with tracer bullets lighting the night sky.
The attack appeared to be using cruise missiles and precision guided bombs.
