Seven killed in arrest of bin Laden's sons

Two of Osama bin Laden’s son were arrested in south-eastern Afghanistan in a joint operation involving US forces, Pakistan’s provincial home minister said today.

“They were arrested from Rabat area in Afghanistan,” said Sanaullah Zehri.

He did not identify the sons.

Al-Qaida terror leader Bin-Laden, a renegade Saudi multi-millionaire, is said to have three wives and 13 children.

At least nine suspected al-Qaida members were killed the the gun battle which led to the sons arrests
