FBI examining scene of oil refinery blast

Fire authorities in New York have said they believe that an oil tanker exploded while being fuelled in the Staten Island oil explosion in the US today.

“We have a preliminary report that a tanker was transferring a product or was being fuelled and somehow ignited,” said Fire Department Chief William Van Wart.
