No indication terrorism behind oil facility fire

There is no indication of terrorism being the cause of a huge oil storage facility fire which has erupted in the United States.

Officials have said that a propane barge may have exploded off the oil storage facility in Staten Island. FBI spokesman Steve Kodak in Newark, New Jersey, said there was no indication of terrorism.

Amazingly there are no fatalities reported.

It is said that the barge could be carrying up to a million gallons of propane at the facility in New York.

“We have a preliminary report that tanker was transferring a product or was being fuelled and somehow ignited,” Fire Department Chief William Van Wart said.
