Underground arsonist kills 120 in South Korea

At least 120 people were killed today after a man, who had threatened arson before, set fire to an underground train in South Korea’s third-largest city.

Anguished relatives told how their loved ones had phoned from the blazing carriages to say they could not escape. A suspect with a history of mental illness was arrested.
