Nato calls emergency meeting on Iraq 'deadlock'

Nato has called an emergency meeting after France today blocked the start of Nato military planning to protect Turkey from the threat of Iraqi missile attack.

The move by Paris deepened the growing rift in the alliance over the stand-off between Washington and Baghdad.
