Fury as race-hate pair are released early

Plans to release two former Stephen Lawrence murder inquiry suspects early from prison in England after they were jailed for a racist attack on a black police officer were strongly criticised today.

Neil Acourt and David Norris were sentenced to 18 months after they targeted off-duty Detective Constable Gareth Reid as he walked home from Eltham train station in south east London.
