Weapons inspector heads for talks with Saddam
Chief UN weapons inspector Hans Blix is preparing to fly to Baghdad to persuade Saddam Hussein to come clean about his weapons of mass destruction.
Dr Blix is leaving Britain for Cyprus, ahead of talks in Iraq on Sunday.
He was expected to deliver a tough message that the regime will have to start co-operating fully with the inspectors if it wants to avoid conflict.
"We need more accurate co-operation for their sake and for the sake of peace," he said.
