Maxine Carr faces two new Holly and Jessica charges

Maxine Carr, accused of perverting the course of justice after the deaths of schoolgirls Holly Wells and Jessica Chapman, faces two new charges, Britain's Crown Prosecution Service announced today.

They allege that knowing school caretaker Ian Huntley had murdered the girls - or committed some other offence – she lied about his and her whereabouts, intending to impede his apprehension or prosecution.
