Man accused of attempted murder of 81-year-old tourist

A South African is appearing in court charged with the attempted murder of an elderly British tourist who was shot during a robbery in Johannesburg.

The 81-year-old woman and her daughter, who were not named, were returning from a shopping trip when they were confronted by two armed men.
