Cross dressing teenager wins ruling

A New York judge has ruled that a 17-year-old male in foster care can dress as a woman if he wants following a row between the gender-bending teenager and officials at the city-run facility.

The teen, who has been diagnosed with a gender identity disorder and is considered legally disabled, had been prohibited him from wearing "sexually provocative" women’s clothing in an all-male establishment.
