Two passenger buses collided in Pakistan’s eastern Punjab province today, killing at least 25 people and injuring several others, some of them seriously, police said.

One bus veered out of control and hit an oncoming bus, said Rehmat Ullah, an official at the hospital in Rahim Yar Khan, where the accident occurred, about 150 miles south of Multan.
